My contribution to the proposed re-development was to design a series of
large scale screens to be cut in Corten Steel. Standing about 2m high and 4m
long
they would form a series of quieter spaces within the western end of the
park.
The following images show preliminary designs for the screens along with
some detail images. The screens were designed to curve, both to give them
more strength and to make them sit comfortably within the meandering
paths of the park.
