Aylesbury Transport Hub

Me
I have been commissioned by Bucks County Council to create an
artwork for Great Western Street in Aylesbury, Bucks. Great Western
Street is a covered road and will be clad in enamel panels. I will be
creating two street length landscapes which will run the length of
Great Western Street. They will be worked in enamel fired directly
onto the panels. The images aim to evoke the local rural landscape
without being a direct representation of specific places. When complete
this will be the largest piece of original enamel art in Europe.

Some of the panels will have cut steel screens for ventilation and I
have designed a laser cut stainless steel hedge to run across these areas.
This is an impression of how the ventilation screens will look, there are also
a few images later in this sectoin of my prototype. More about the
Aylesbury Transport Hub project can be seen at www.aylesburyspoke.com
