Working at the Albion Press

Following a move out of London we were fortunate enough to find a house with a small studio. Through the great generosity of some friends I have been loaned an Albion printing press and now find myself with the time, facilities and equipment to return to printmaking. The prints in this site cover work done since 2005, interestingly I now find myself more flexible in both technique and subject matter than I was in my days as an undergraduate, and I experiment with different ways of printing.

When I am not actually printing I spend most of my time gardening, I love to cook so I grow salads and vegetables as well as fruit and flowers. A good deal of which end up as subject matter for my prints.

I also like to run, this takes me through the beautiful countryside around my home in North Buckinghamshire where I find inspiration for much of my landscape work.
